Milk Man & The Big Band were scheduled to perform at the Historic Bijou Theatre in Knoxville, Tennessee on January 11th, 2025, on National Milk Day. However, a major snowstorm hit the city and the show was canceled, just hours before it was to begin. It was a minor miracle that the rescheduled performance came together a week later. As you can hear on this recording, as we did in the hall that night, the music doesn’t reflect any of the challenges the band had been undergoing in the weeks and hours before. When it was over, this lineup of Milk Man & The Big Band officially disbanded, marking the end of this chapter of the group. As of writing this, Dino and Rion are now hard at work writing new material and making plans for the next iteration of the group. Live at The Bijou ‘25 is a testament to the group that was and that moment in time.
